Beelink Z83 TV Box MiNI PC is equipped with one of the most famous chips from Intel – Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail. The shape of the Z83 looks like a TV Box, but only from the outside. In addition to that at the beginning of cherry trail processor, we find 2GB of RAM and 32GB of flash data + SD card (up to 128GB). Mini PC also has Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n Dual Band, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth. It is worth noticing that the device also has a USB 3.0 port. The whole run on Windows 10 Home.
Hardware:
The Z83 TV Box MiNI PC rocks three USB ports (still only one USB3.0 though), a full-sized SD card slot, a headphone jack and a full-sized Ethernet port. Perhaps more significantly, it’s passively cooled so there’s no irritating little fan waiting to spin up during a tense dramatic moment. That’s assuming you’re using this thing as some kind of HTPC because it does come with a back-of-the-TV-or-monitor mounting bracket.
Z83 Specs:
Apart from those form-factor differences though, the spec of the Z83 TV Box MiNI PC is so similar to the Compute Stick, we wondered if it WAS one, just in a bigger box. So out came the spudgers and teeny screwdrivers, and we discovered that in fact, the box isn’t just for show: this machine sits on a much larger PCB than Intel’s teeny pooter, and has a nice big heatsink covering the CPU and memory.
